Beautiful game-worn jersey donned by Hall of Famer Tom Seaver while with the Cincinnati Reds in 1982. Known primarily for his time with the Mets, the star pitcher was traded from New York to the Reds in what was dubbed "the Midnight Massacre" in 1977. Though he never really recaptured the magic of his days with the Mets, Seaver finished his career with a truly imposing resume: 12 All-Star Game appearances, three NL Cy Youngs, three NL wins and ERA titles and a World Series victory. The all original home jersey shows very nice use; its only flaws are a few small rips in the knit material (worst at the tail on the back) and some minor dirt stains from use, but these do not detract from the overall appearance. There is a "CReds" patch on the left chest and "41" on the right, with "SEAVER" sewn directly on the back and "41" below. Rawlings size 46 and "Set 1 1982" flag tags appear inside the front tail.
