This beautiful satin team jacket is of an incredible style, with a splendid old-time image of Mr. Red in pillbox hat and handlebar mustache on the left chest portion. The snap-button jacket was worn by Leo Cardenas, is red with blue and white trim and leather-trimmed pockets. A large "16" is sewn on a swatch inside the front along with MacGregor size 42 tag and is it in wonderful condition with no rips or holes. The 1962 season was the third in a 16-year MLB career for Cardenas, who made his first - and only - World Series appearance the previous season. Leo stroked 31 doubles for the '62 Redlegs, appearing in 153 games.
