Four images depict a dapper Muhammad Ali formally dressed in tuxedo and bow tie, as he accepts a "Sports Magazine" award plaque. The wooden award plaque reads "Sport Magazine Award Top Performance in Boxing 1965 Muhammad Ali." Candid images are executed on 2.25" medium format black and white negative film. Comes with a Type I matching black and white contact print, which is a consecutive strip of the corresponding four images, measuring 2.5x10" and in NM-MT condition. The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Muhammad Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
