These are camera 2.25" black and white negatives of Muhammad Ali training at the Toronto Athletic Club in 1966 to prepare the World Title defense against George Chuvalo, which he won by a slaughter. Consists of two strips of three consecutive 2.25" negatives with matching contact prints, also consecutive and from the period thus Type I, and measuring 2.5x7.25". The images show Ali in the ring with an unidentified opponent in preparation for the fight, in NM-MT condition. The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
