Frank H. Saccone was business manager for heavyweight boxing legend, Rocky Marciano, and this fascinating collection of documents pertaining to Marciano's business dealings came from his personal files. The documents are well indexed in the front of the large blue binder in which they are held. They include: letters from Marciano's CPA (addressed to "Rocco F. Marchegiano") regarding his taxes and investors for a LI boxing club; documents showing stock purchases and securities held by Marciano; several letters regarding real estate holdings and deals; deposit slips credited to the account of "Rocco Marchegiano" and checks imprinted with "Rocky Marciano"; (17) booklets entitled "Rocky Marciano, Undefeated Heavyweight Champion of the World" with great photos of Marciano with important figures of the day; (4) 12x18" posters illustrated to show each of Marciano's bouts including dates, opponents and decisions; and much more- (60+) pieces in all. In addition to the documents, there is a promo photo from the 1980 film Raging Bull, mint signed to Frank from "Raging Bull Jake LaMotta". Super collection that proves Marciano was far from being just a boxer, he was a corporation!
