Displayed is a New York Yankees Legends team-signed baseball with 17 signatures, with eight (8) Hall of Famers and nine (9) stars: Hall of Famers - Mantle, DiMaggio, Berra, Ford, Gomez, Rizzuto, Mize, and Slaughter. Stars - Henrich, Lopat, Bouton, Larsen, Reynolds, Richardson, Skowron, Raschi, Bauer. The signatures are in a number of blue or light green colors signed with fine-tip markers and in various shades of ballpoint ink. The autographs average 8/10. The ball is a Rawlings Official American League Ball (Brown). Signing on the sweet spot was Joe DiMaggio. Mickey Mantle signed to the right of the sweet spot, partially over the end of the Yankee Clipper's autograph. Perhaps Mantle was mimicking when Mantle played right field with DiMaggio in center field in the 1951 World Series in the Yankee Clipper's last season and Mantle's first.

Signing on the right edge of the sweet spot and partially over the end of DiMaggio's signature were Whitey Ford and Don Larsen, the only pitcher to throw a World Series perfect game. The great array of signatures includes players who played for the Yankees in the 1930s all the way to players with the Yankees in the late 1960s, with most of the signatures from players who were on multiple Yankee World Champions.
