Uncracked and terrific use is displayed with general wear to the barrel and numerous bat rack transfers. Number 12 is written on the knob in black marker over stamps featuring length and weight, and it is autographed between trademark and barrel in 6-7/10 black Sharpie (some smudging of the autograph is evident). Inscription includes "My game used bat" above the signature and "92 W.S. Champs" below. The Hall of Famer is on the short list of best defensive second basemen of all time, with his exceptional range and strong arm leading to 10 Gold Glove awards, to go with 4 Silver Sluggers, and 12 All Star Game selections.
