Interesting background to this Dave Winfield signed game used bat, which is barrel-stamped for the 1992 World Series with the Toronto Blue Jays but was not, in fact, used until the 1993 regular season with the Minnesota Twins. Rawlings/Adirondack Model DW20 has a black barrel with natural handle, and the ash bat measures 35.5" and weighs 32.3 ounces. Uncracked and exceptional use is displayed with barrel checking, and ball marks which stand out beautifully on the black barrel; Winfield signed in 8/10 silver Sharpie between trademark and barrel stamp, perfectly over one such mark, giving this bat magnificent display quality. Stamped on the knob is "92 W/S - DW 20 - DW." A superb blend of power and defensive skills, Winfield claimed 6 Silver Slugger, and 7 Gold Glove awards in his 22 Major League seasons; in '93, at age 41, the Hall of Fame outfielder batted a solid .271 with 21 homers for the Twins.
