1991 Jim Thome pre-MLB game used bat from his stint with the AA Canton-Akron Indians. Flame-burned ash Louisville Slugger Pro Stock Model C271 measures 34.0" and weighs 29.4 ounces. Moderate use is displayed with a handle crack, general wear, and a black ball mark on the barrel in which part of 1991 Eastern League President Charles Eschbach's stamp is visible. The future Hall of Famer's number 25 is written on the knob in black marker, and he has beautifully signed in 9/10 black Sharpie between the trademark and barrel stamp. Though he hit just five home runs in 84 games with Canton-Akron in '91, Thome's .337 batting average was enough to be called up to the Cleveland Indians, where he embarked on a 22-year MLB career, mashing 612 round-trippers, currently 8th on the all-time list. Comes with full PSA from LOA, with the bat earning a grade of PSA/DNA GU 7. Please note that the LOA covers game use only, and not the signature.
