Circa 1903 Cap Anson Cabinet Card produced by J K Stevens and Sons Chicago. The Anson photograph is mounted on a dark cardboard backing with the maker stamped beneath the photo of Anson. The reverse is ornately lithographed J K Stevens and Sons Co. Portraits Chicago located on the McVicker's Theatre Building. The photo of Anson is bright and clear depicting a side portrait with a variegated dark background. The cabinet card has rounded corners with scattered paper loss most evident along the mid-right border. The reverse has scattered soiling with light paper loss on three corners.
