Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1973 National League Championship Series between the Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets held at Shea Stadium on October 18th, signed and inscribed in blue marker by Pete Rose on the front: "Pete Rose - Harrelson Fight Game" PSA has graded the signature GEM MINT 10 and the ticket VG 3. This is the ONLY signed example of this ticket stub listed in the PSA Population Report, with just two graded higher. Rose's inscription makes note of the game's most memorable moment. In the top of the fifth inning, Pete Rose slid hard into Mets shortstop Bud Harrelson as he attempted to break up a double play at second base. Harrelson, who was able to complete the double play, took exception to Rose's slide and came up swinging. The two men continued fighting as both benches emptied and it took ten minutes to restore order. When Rose returned to his outfield position the next inning he was greeted by a variety of bottles and other objects hurled his way. The Mets won the game 9-2, but the fight between Rose and Harrelson will long be remembered as one of the vicious brawls in post-season play. 4.75x2.25."
