New York Yankees ticket stub issued for the club's home opener against the Cleveland Indians on April 9, 1973, which was the first Yankees first game played under the ownership of George Steinbrenner. Graded PSA EX-MT 6. This is the ONLY example of this ticket stub graded at this level by PSA, with NONE graded higher. Its rarity is also such that it is one of just five examples total listed in the PSA Population Report. Steinbrenner owned the Yankees from 1973 until his death in 2010, which was the longest tenure for any Yankees owner in the club's storied history. During that span, the Yankees captured seven World Championships and won eleven American League pennants. This is both a rare and significant New York Yankees ticket stub and one that would be a fine addition to any advanced New York Yankees or Major League ticket collection. 3.25x1.5".
