Roberto Clemente H&B pro-model ("G105") bat dating from the 1965 to 1968 manufacturing period. Graded GU 8 by PSA. The signature-model bat, which measures 36 inches and weighs 37.9 ounces, displays moderate use, including a crack in the upper handle. Several ball marks and stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel, as are green rack marks, and blue paint (possibly from a bat rack). There is also trace evidence of a number written on the knob which has faded beyond legibility. As noted in the accompanying LOA from PSA, the "G105" model was a favorite of Clemente during the referenced manufacturing period and both the size and weight perfectly match factory records from the time. The four-year span 1965 to 1968 was one of the most productive periods of Clemente's career, a time during which he won two of his four batting titles (1965 and 1967) and his one MVP Award (1966). Full LOA from PSA (graded GU 8).
