Presented is one of the finest Walter Johnson cut signatures, a stunning, PSA/DNA GEM MT 10 signature. Beautifully crafted in blue fountain ink, the "Big Train's" signature is on 2x3.3" light card stock or paper. Johnson, also nicknamed "Barney," pitched for 21 Major League seasons, 1907-27, all with the Washington Senators. He had a lifetime 417-279 record, and his victory total is second only to Cy Young's 511 wins. The 6'1" Johnson had exceptionally long arms, and the right-hander used them to advantage with a whip-like sidearm delivery that was incredibly hard to hit for right-handed batters. He had a career 2.17 ERA, with 3,508 strikeouts. The 1924 World Champion was a 3-time Pitching Triple Crown winner, a 2-time AL MVP, a 5-time AL ERA leader and a 6-time AL wins champ. The cut signature has been encapsulated, and the PSA/DNA CERTIFIED AUTO GRADE GEM MT 10 signature makes a wonderful collectible for one of baseball's all-time greats, an Inaugural Hall of Famer.
