A Louisville Slugger model R195 bat used by Pete Rose during the late 1970s. The 35" long, 32.6 ounce bat features a light coat of pine tar on the handle and features a repaired crack. The barrel of the bat shows several ball marks and ball stitch impressions. Rose's number 14 is written on the knob in black marker. The lot will include a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA and the service has graded the bat as a GU9. The bat was originally obtained by a former Philadelphia Phillies clubhouse staffer. Rose, who played from 1963-86 holds multiple baseball records, most famously the all-time hit record with 4,256.
