A bat used by Major League Baseball hit-king Pete Rose during the 1984 season. The bat is a Louisville Slugger D143, is 34" long and weighs 33.4 ounces. This bat is especially rare as Rose used Mizuno bats for much of his career. The item shows moderate signs of use with ball strikes on the barrel and tape in the middle part of the bat. Rose's number 14 has been written on the knob. Rose has also signed the bat on the barrel. To this day, Rose holds several Major League records including most hits (4,256), most at bats (14,053), and most games played (3,562). Comes with PSA LOA. PSA has deemed the bat as game ready but we offer the opinion that it certainly is used based on the ball marks, pine tar and wear.
