Barry Bonds has the most home runs, 762, in MLB history. Offered is an April 17, 2001, full ticket to the game in which Barry Bonds hit his 500th home run. Bonds played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1988-92) and the San Francisco Giants (1993-2007). The left fielder was a 7-time NL MVP, a 2-time NL batting champion, and an 8-time Gold Glove winner. The aforementioned contest pitted the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers against the home team San Francisco Giants at Pacific Bell Park, before a crowd of 41,059. The Dodgers held a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 8th inning with none out when Bonds came to bat with Rich Aurelia, who led off the half-inning with a triple, on third base. Los Angeles reliever Terry Adams was on the mound. With a 2-0 count, Bonds drove Adams' next pitch deep to right field for a two-run home run to give the Giants a 3-2 lead, which they held for the victory. The ticket measures 2x5.5". It reads, in part, "Tue Apr 17 2001/7:15 PM/PACIFIC BELL PARK/SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS vs LOS ANGELES DODGERS/Bleachers/9.00." The ticket has been encapsulated and PSA graded as FULL MINT 9.
