J. F. Hillerich & Son full-size decal bat, dating from the 1910 to 1915 manufacturing period, featuring Philadelphia Athletics star first baseman Harry Davis. This is an exceedingly rare decal bat and the only full-size Harry Davis model we have ever seen, let alone offered. Davis was one of just several players featured on J. F. Hillerich & Son bats at the time, along with Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Nap Lajoie, Frank Baker, and Eddie Collins. There is some light surface wear along the area of Davis' facsimile signature at the base of the decal, but the remainder is ninety-five percent intact and is in Excellent condition overall. The bat, which measures 33.5 inches and weighs 39.5 ounces, is not cracked and displays moderate-to-heavy use, including a small chip in the knob. There are also several circular impressions on the back of the barrel (not related to game use) and a few moderate surface blemishes. In Very Good condition overall.
