Collection of eight checks and a document, each signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Hank Aaron. Six of the checks are Hank Aaron personal checks dating from either 1978 or 1979 and each has been signed along the base of the front (variety of inks and markers) by Aaron. The remaining two checks are made out to Aaron and endorsed by him on the reverse in either blue or black ink. One of the endorsed checks was issued to Aaron by National Pastime Productions in the amount of $10,000 and, as noted along the base, was full payment to Aaron for bats he autographed at the company's signing show in April 1991. Each check (approximately 8.25x3") displays normal bank cancellation stamps on the front and/or reverse and one or more fold lines. Three of the personal checks display small-to-moderate tears. Very Good condition overall. The final item in the collection is a two-page "National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues Official Assignment Agreement" signed by Aaron along the base on the first page in his capacity as "Vice President" of the Anderson Braves minor league team. The document assigns the contract of Darren Andre Parker from the Bradenton Braves to the Anderson Braves. Dated May 8, 1984, and recorded in the league office on May 14, 1984. 8.5x11". The two pages are joined together by a staple in the upper left corner. Excellent condition overall.
