Circa 1984-86 game used bat was wielded by Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter during his time with the New York Mets. Measuring 34.75" and weighing 31.8 ounces, the Louisville Slugger model P89 shows excellent use with pine tar on the handle, ball marks across the barrel, and it is cracked at the handle. Number 8 is written on the knob as well as in the cup at the end of the barrel in black marker. The labeling period for this fine specimen covers his last year with the Montreal Expos and first two with the Mets, including their magical run to the 1986 World Championship. "The Kid" accounted for 83 home runs and 311 RBI over that period, some possibly with this very bat. Comes with PSA/DNA LOA grading a GU 8.5.
