An original 1907 boxing cabinet card of "Harlem" Tommy Murphy, who had a long and distinguished career totaling 142 documented fights from 1903 until 1917. He was a top contender and was ranked in three divisions including the Bantamweight, Featherweight, and Lightweight classes. He fought many top champions of the day including Abe Attell, Packy McFarland, and Ad Wolgast. He was known as a fearless competitor and never backed away from challenging high ranking and heavier opponents. The card measures 6.75x4.5" and was produced by F. Newman in New York City. The card is in VG condition with some rounding to the corner and some surface wear.
