On offer here is a doubly-historic final out baseball which recorded Carl Erskine's 20th win of the season while putting those Bums over the century mark for the year 1953. The ONL (Giles) sphere shows fine wear and bears Erskine's neat blue ink notations on a side panel which read: "Thursday, Sept. 17th 1953, St. Louis 3-7, Brooklyn 4-3, 20th Win, 100th Team Win." Comes with a signed letter of provenance from Carl Erskine.
