A smashing log of hand-turned lumber, this is a brilliant piece of American folk art. The small knob attests to its early manufacture. Includes a great, gold-painted "C" on the barrel to distinguish it as from that team. Discovered recently in the Keene, NH area, therefore it could be 1860s. Gorgeous quality redwood finish and two-tone barrel in black paint. One of the nice early bats we have offered. 39 7/8 inches long and weighing 2 pounds 4.7 ounces.
