From our own original 1980s Brimfield Find. Here is one of the few known original 19th Century complete boxes of Slide Kelly Shoe Polish. One of the earliest baseball product endorsements, this is a clever knockoff of Mike "King" Kelly using the name of the company "Kelly's" and adding the Slide and fine color litho design. Includes a full color store display box (the top lifts up to create point-of-purchase display), with twelve cans inside with similar logo in cream and black. However, the box is bound in the original string from the era and has never been opened. We found about five complete and partilboxes of these at Brimfield in the mid-80s (ok, Josh did) and only one or two were complete and unopened. This is it! Some tears and creases from the weight of the cans, but the cans inside should be mint
