The 1887 St. Louis Browns dominated the regular season with a 95-40 record before bowing out in the World Series, and this souvenir from that pennant-winning club is a thing of beauty: a 5.5x9.5" silk that features a dozen team members, including a terrific image of player-manager Charlie Comiskey at the top center and president Chris Von der Ahe in the center. This amazing artifact, which is housed in its original folder, was distributed to female fans on Opening Day. We have never before seen the background on Von der Ahe and the team. The silk is NM and the folder VG.
