World Champion Emile Griffith is now perhaps best known for his controversial third fight with Benny Paret in 1962, killing him for a supposed gay slur. Offered here are two fight-worn robes by one of the all-time boxing greats, Emile Griffith. First is a "sparkly" red, knee length robe with "EMILE" on back in yellow lettering. Second is a black velour with yellow trim, knee-length robe with no name on the back. Both have TUF-WEAR labels in the collar, dating them to pre-1962. They show wear, but are nicely intact. Come with LOAs from a Griffith family member.
