Jack McAuliffe was born on March 24, 1866 in Ireland. He knocked out Billy Frazier on October 29, 1886 to win the Lightweight Championship of the World and the Lightweight Championship of America. He retired after fighting Georges Carpentier in a exhibition bout in October 1920. On September 5,1892 McAuliffe met Billy Myer for the Lightweight Title at the Olympic Club in New Orleans. McAuliffe won the bout with a KO in the 15th round. This was part of the fight week in New Orleans which culminated with the Sullivan-Corbett fight. Presented here is an official full, unused, on site ticket to the bout. This full ticket measures 2.5" by 5". Not creased or torn. Clean front and back. Minor edge and corner wear. Quite Rare.
