A significant piece of Milwaukee Braves history, this is the first of its kind that we have seen or handled, making it a truly unique find. At the celebration after the victory, this plaque was given by Commissioner Giles to the Braves instead of a trophy as is done in the television ceremony today. Apparently a lifelong Milwaukee Braves collector took it right off the office wall when the team moved south to Atlanta. This one of a kind piece was done in hand and is signed by Giles in mint black ink. The certificate is in NRMT condition and is mounted on a wooden plaque which measures 11" x 14". A rare and exceptional find that will enhance any sports memorabilia collection.
