Baseball may be the all American pastime but shortly after the end of the Second World War we managed to export the game to the Europeans and the European Baseball League was formed. This particular collection originates from one of the league umpires and anything related to this particular league is extremely rare, especially memorabilia from this vintage. There is a variety of memorabilia in this huge and varied lot; there are team photographs, programs, official rule books, and a plethora of other photographs, some game action and some publicity shots. This lot is a veritable treasure trove of items from a league that little is known about. There are about 50-75 pieces total in this collection.
