What Ted Hampson lacked in size, he more than made up for with
quickness and agility on the ice, making him the perfect hound for
checking other team’s top offensive threats. His final year with the
Fighting Saints is commemorated by this 1975-76 road, blue jersey.
Rawlings size 46 and Steichens tags sewn in to the collar. Captain’s
‘C’ sewn to the left chest. Incredible chain-stitched and twill crest
with plenty of stick work, scuffing, and light sweat stains. The
lower front displays more marks, un-repaired holes, and two team
repairs in the yellow stripe. Various colors of paint transfers on
the back right sleeve with board burns and light scuffing and sweat
staining. The back of the left sleeve is hammered with red paint
transfers and board burns. Four team repairs in the sleeve stripes
and plenty of scuffing around the board burns worth mentioning.
Additional board burns above the numbers on the left shoulder. Two
more repairs in the back hem striping. Hampson’s name sewn on to a
twill nameplate. Small loop style fight strap and pilling side both
elbows. Fantastic WHA Captain’s jersey.
