Great and unique Robinson signature piece from the year he and his Dodger mates blew the pennant. Government postcard self-addressed to Jim Davidson is postmarked August 14, 1951, New York, NY, just about when the team was collapsing. This example of one of the most valuable of all sports signatures is in blue ink, grading a solid 9/10. Card itself is VG with a crease and a 2” area of soiling on front and back toward the bottom. Photo of Jackie is affixed to the right of the signature.
