1924 Ty Cobb Louisville Slugger store-model bat. This Louisville Slugger model 40T bat is 35 3/4" long and shows excellent signs of use as the handle is cracked. There is a small piece of wood, measuring 1.25" wide, missing from the handle as well. Cobb's signature is stamped on the barrel and "TRADE MARK" is stamped above, and "REG U.S. PATENT OFF" is stamped below. "36" is etched into the knob of the bat.
