This lot features a 1940 Gum Inc. Superman #1 Superman card. This card has been graded and encapsulated by SGC GD+ 2.5. All 4 corners show wear and are a bit rounded. Centering is fairly nice, the image is shifted slightly towards the bottom right of the card but is not drastically off-center. The image of Superman is bright and bold still. There is a light wrinkle towards the top right of the card but does not affect the image. This is known as Superman's true rookie card and is an extremely important piece to all high end non-sport collections.
