Presented is a 1981 George Foster Cincinnati Reds game worn jersey. This Rawlings size 42 home pullover-style jersey was worn by Foster during the 1981 season. A Rawlings size 42 tag is sewn into the right tail of the jersey. Attached to the tag is a small white tag that reads, "SET 1 1981." Foster's number 15 and the red and white "C" Reds logo are sewn across the chest of the jersey. "FOSTER" and "15" are sewn into the back of the jersey in red. The jersey shows moderate signs of use as there is pilling at the numbers and letters and some stain marks visible on the sleeves and left armpit area. Foster played Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1986, most notably with the Reds. He won two World Series championships with the Reds in 1975 and 1976. 1981 was Foster's final year with the Reds. He later played for the Mets from 1982-86, and then for the White Sox in 1986. Jersey comes with a full LOA from MEARS.
