Presented is a 1960s Pittsburgh Steelers team-issued sideline jacket. The black jacket has gold and black trim, and it is in beautiful condition. Seven black metal snap buttons run down the front. The collar has a Rawlings manufacturer's tag, a tag indicating "longer," but no number of inches visible, and a size "52" tag. The back has a giant, circular Steelers logo, including the gold, red, and blue markings representing Pittsburgh's famous Three Rivers. These jackets were worn by team members on the sidelines. Quarterback Bobby Layne and running back John Henry Johnson were two Pro Football Hall of Famers who played for the Steelers during the 1960s, but there is actually no way of telling who wore this sideline jacket because the team would interchange jackets amongst team members, so there is no way to determine who wore this. This originally came from the Steelers' archives. This is a terrific piece for display with jerseys.
