Here is an original Brown Brothers 8x10" photograph of the image used for one of Knute Rockne's most important cards, the 1935 National Chicle #9 card, and his 1955 Topps All American card. This is a later-issued 1940s example that was made off a duplicate negative featuring an image originally taken in the 1920s. As an end for Notre Dame. Rockne helped to bring the forward pass into national prominence. Rockne made Notre Dame into a powerhouse, coaching the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for 13 seasons, winning more than 100 games, and achieving three National Championships. PSA authenticated and encapsulated as TYPE IV. There is a crease from top to bottom near the left edge and another crease from right to halfway through the photo. The back has two Brown Brothers stamps.
