Rawlings size 46 tag is inside tail along with Al Dekdebrun Sporting Goods tag. Cincinnati was an affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, as evidenced by the crossed swords crest across the chest (patterned from the Sabres logo of the era), with number 11 on both sleeves and back in blue-on-gold tackle twill. Nichols had a solid stint with the Swords, averaging 24 goals over his three seasons, with a high of 26 in the franchise's 1972-73 Calder Cup championship run.
