The 1912 official opening of Fenway Park created a historic landmark that stands to this day. This ticket stub is from only the 6th Boston Red Sox game ever played at Fenway, an incredible rarity. Card stock measures 1.5x3.5", the deep purple color and red star remain very crisp, as is the print. Encapsulated as PSA PR 1, the notable flaws are exposed paper from a poor tear, slightly rounded corners, and scrapbook residue on back, some of which extends above the top edge of the ticket. Boston claimed a 6-5 victory over the Philadelphia Athletics in front of a listed crowd of 15,000, with star Tris Speaker going 3-for-4 with three runs scored, and Philadelphia's Eddie Collins and Home Run Baker recording a hit each, as the Sox rallied for three runs in the home 8th inning to snatch the win.
