Jackie Robinson doll, complete with its original cap and rare retail tag. Produced in 1950 by the Allied-Grand Doll Mfg. Co., Inc of Brooklyn, New York, this doll has always been popular with both Jackie Robinson and Brooklyn Dodgers collectors. The composition body displays moderate crazing to the head and hands, as well as a tiny chip behind the right ear and on the left-hand pinky finger. The uniform displays wear commensurate with its age and former use, including a few light stains. Both the team name on the front and the number on the reverse appear to have been restored. Height: 13 inches. The retail hang tag (2x2.25") is in Fair condition, with heavy creasing and clear tape repair to a tear through the pre-punched hole.
