Rare style circa 1940s game used Chicago White Sox cap is navy blue with a white C embroidered on an oval patch on the front panels. This hat shows really nice use, but unfortunately we are not sure who used it. What's certain is that this is a pro model, and these were not available to the public. White leather headband shows some tears and cracks, with Spalding tag (no size) sewn into the back. The hard material in the brim does have a crack but the cloth is fine. Let the imagination run wild as to what this hat may have seen from a franchise with the likes of Hall of Famers Luke Appling, Ted Lyons, Red Ruffing, and more patrolling the pastures of venerable Comiskey Park.
