Tremendous original, one of a kind, from the camera cellulose negative featuring Babe Ruth. The Babe played just 28 games for the Boston Braves in 1935, and this is from one of those, possibly from Opening Day as a packed house looks on from bunting-draped stands. Measuring 4x5", the negative has extra value as it was taken by famed photographer Charles Conlon, with his handwriting both on the edge of the negative as well as the original envelope. While it's possible to find versions of this print online, this is the only original negative that generated them. From the Brown Brothers photo service archive, where hidden gems come to light.
