E76 is tougher to find than E75 but is still considered a mainstream prewar boxing set of 20 cards. Most of the subjects and artwork are the same as E75. High grade cards will fetch proportionally higher prices in the manner of the other caramel cards, and assembling a high grade set of E76 is considerably more challenging than would be the E75 set. The set assembled by the consignor has 40% of its cards ex-mt or better, is #1 on the SGC set registry and breaks down as follows:
SGC 86 McGovern
SGC 84 Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Gans, Hart
SGC 80 Maher, Sullivan, Walcott
SGC 70 Munroe, Nelson
SGC 60 Gardner, O’Brien
SGC 50 Britt
SGC 40 Choyinski, Young Corbett, Dixon, Jeffries, McCoy, Ruhlin
SGC 30 Sharkey
