Wonderful treasure. 1927 Babe Ruth single-signed baseball on sweet spot. Ruth had a tremendous season in 1927 as he once again broke his own home run record, this time by blasting 60. He then led the pennant-winning Bronx Bombers to a sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the World Series. The ball has a see-through veneer that is clear but dark. Most likely the ball was coated with shellac, but Ruth's signature is bold and clear. Imprinted on ball is "Official American League Ball." Graded "9" signature by PSA. PSA/LOA.
