The photo is roughly cut and has some slight crinkling and some minor staining near the top of both sides, otherwise in good condition. Seated: Roy Campanella, Adams, Gaines, Clark, Williams, Felton Snow, Pee Wee Butts (great shortstop who tutored Junior Gilliam on the Elite Giants), Brown, Curry, Scales. Standing: Biot, Washington, Byrd, Griffith, Hoskins, Barnes, Spearman. Great note on verso came from player who wrote "This is a team I traveled with." The Elite Giants sent three notable players on to the Brooklyn Dodgers. Campanella in 1947, Joe Black, pitcher who was the National League Rookie of the Year in 1952, and Junior Gilliam, second baseman who was the National League Rookie of the Year in 1953.
