Neiman signed print of "Tiger Woods" at Valhalla. Limited Edition (#165/300) is signed in pencil "LeRoy Neiman" in the lower right. The story goes that during the championship in 2000, Valhalla commissioned Neiman to do a painting and he used Woods as his subject. As Tiger was not asked for permission, he demanded that the print not be produced. Neiman then "whitened" the subject and said it was not Tiger. A thin ruse as everyone knew the subject was Tiger based on his Sunday red shirt. The print became one of Neiman's best sellers but Woods would forever refuse to sign them. Unframed, measures 34x41.5" overall.
