Fantastic game used batting helmet is rare late 1960's style with red fiberglass shell that is painted red on the outside with white hand-painted "C" on the front. The underside of the brim is painted green as well. GREAT USE, this is by American Baseball Cap Co. with sticker inside with size 7. All important "HELMS" is written on a piece of Dymo tape stuck on the brim. Helms is a Reds stalwart and this is from the collection of longtime Cincinnati Reds equipment icon Bernie Stowe.

Bernie Stowe was with the Cincinnati Reds for an unbelievable 67 consecutive years.  As head equipment manager, he worked every Reds game until his retirement in 2013.  As a beloved member of the Cincinnati Reds, many of the players would give him mementos and over the years, he received and saved many.  This unique piece of Reds memorabilia is from his personal collection and is being offered for the first time.
