The statuesque Jean Beliveau played the game with a style and grace that won him the respect and admiration of both teammates and opponents. This wonderful wool sweater, worn by Beliveau during the late Sixties, features his familiar “4” in tackle twill on the sleeves and back. The captain’s “C” adorns the left breast above the classic logo of the Montreal Canadiens. In marvelous condition with the original string in the lace neck. Overall lighter exterior use includes pilling at the cuffs, a number of black stick marks and two blue scrapes. The inside displays heavier wear with areas of extensive pilling.
