This Ball Has Recently Been Featured in a FORBES Article Written by David Seideman

This ball boasting a triumvirate of sluggers - Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Roger Maris - is the only one of its kind we have ever seen. The three are unquestionably among the pantheon of baseball's home-run hitters, and Aaron and Maris both hold the distinction of breaking Ruth's home-run records. Maris famously broke Ruth's single-season home-run record in 1961 by socking 61 long balls, though he was never able to approach that number again in his career. While Aaron never had a single season that could match Ruth or Maris, his longevity and consistency allowed him to break Ruth's career home run mark of 714. Ruth himself basically single-handedly brought a close to the dead-ball era in baseball. His 29 home runs in 1919 were a tremendous feat, and continuing to defy what was thought possible for a power hitter of the time, he then proceeded to hit more than 45 home runs nine times in his career, including his high-water mark of 60 in 1927. This OAL (Harridge) ball from the mid-1940s is clean with visible labeling; overall we would rate it as EX+. Ruth's signature appears on the sweet spot in 7/10 black ink and has a vintage protectant over it. It also comes with the inscription, "Sincerely Babe Ruth," which does not have the protectant. Aaron signed on a side panel in 7.5/10 blue ballpoint pen with the same protectant over it, and finally, Maris appears in 8.5/10 blue ballpoint pen between the seams on a separate panel. Comes with PSA letter. This one-of-a-kind ball is not to be missed by home run aficionados.
