Amazing set of two of America's most polarizing politicians: Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. Before there was Donald Trump the President, there were a few different iterations of Donald Trump the candidate. This illustration of Trump comes from 1988, when he mulled over the possibility of running for America's highest office. The pencil drawing shows Trump's iconic hair nest (there was considerably more of it at the time), and the real estate mogul is seen wearing opposing pins saying "Vote for me..." and "... I'm filthy rich". The Bill Clinton gouache brilliantly captures the essence of "Slick Willy," seen making his trademark facial expression and hand gesture with a pin that reads "I Can't Lose!" The pair were done by Mike Petronella, whose work has appeared in numerous publications in New York and abroad. The pair measures 11.5x17" (Trump) and 11.5x16.5" (Clinton).
