The Springfield Indians were a minor league hockey team formed in 1926 in Springfield, MA, and were a charter member of the American Hockey League. This signed team photo of the 1941-42 Indians was taken a year before the team went into a forced hiatus after the Eastern Sports Coliseum, where they played their home games, was requisitioned by the Army during World War II. The photo was signed by the entire team and coach (18 in all which rate 5/10) including Eddie Shore, Kelly, Kaminsky, Thurier, Mitchell "Coach 1942," O'Flaherty, Simmons, Hunt, Kraiger, Beisler, Robertson, McPherson, Lewis, Marker, Dill, Knott and one other. Robertson's signature is inscribed "To Dick." There is some minor creasing, but it is otherwise in EX condition and measures 7.5x10". Includes PSA LOA.
